The SOLAS Safe Pass training course is a 1 day health and safety training awareness course that is mandatory for all construction workers in Ireland under the Construction Regulations 2013.
The course is delivered in a tutor lead presentation and covers areas such as,
- Safety Culture
- Legislation and Site Safety
- Accident Reporting
- Risk Assessment
- Electricity
- Excavations
- Working at Heights
- Behaviour bases Safety
- Construction Vehicles
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Personal Health and Welfare
The Safe Pass course is held on weekdays and Saturdays and runs from 7:30am to 5.00pm.
Participants will need:
- 1 Passport sized photograph
- PPS Number
- Photo ID
On successful completion of the course each participant will be issued with SOLAS Safe Pass card within 10 working days. The Safe Pass card is valid for a period of 4 years. A letter of confirmation will be issued on the day to each participant and this will allow each person to commence work on a construction site immediately.
