Since January 2025 Killian Mc Grath has been running Safe Pass courses in Midleton, Co. Cork. Known for his no-nonsense approach, Killian makes what could be considered a tedious course both engaging and enjoyable. We are based in Midleton Football/Soccer Club for our courses. Plenty of free parking is available on site with ample options for food at the Market Green Shopping Centre. If you are using Public transport to the Venue the Avoncore Bust stop is less than 100m away from the venue.

The following Public Transport is available to get you to the venue on time:

  • The 6:00am bus leaving Cork Bus station will get you there on time Bus Éireann Route 240
  • As will the 7:00am bus leaving Cork Bus station Bus Éireann Route 260
  • The train station is a 22min walk from the venue with regular trains from, Cork-Kent, Little Island, Glounthaune and Carrigtwohill Stations.

Midleton FC Football/Soccer Club

The SOLAS Safe Pass training course is a 1 day health and safety  training awareness course that is mandatory for all construction workers in Ireland under the Construction Regulations 2013.

The course is delivered in a tutor lead presentation and covers areas such as,

  • Safety Culture
  • Legislation and Site Safety
  • Accident Reporting
  • Risk Assessment
  • Electricity
  • Excavations
  • Working at Heights
  • Behaviour bases Safety
  • Construction Vehicles
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Personal Health and Welfare

The Safe Pass course is held on weekdays and Saturdays and runs from 7:30am to 5.00pm.

Participants will need:

  • Passport photo not neccessary as we will thrown in one for FREE on the day. Yes we can print your photo on the day!
  • PPS Number
  • Photo ID

On successful completion of the course each participant will be issued with SOLAS Safe Pass card within 10 working days. The Safe Pass card is valid for a period of 4 years. A letter of confirmation will be issued on the day to each participant and this will allow each person to commence work on a construction site immediately.
