In line with the recently announced Covid 19 restrictions, regulated safety training in the construction sector including Safe Pass and CSCS and QSCS training will be suspended from 6pm on Friday 8th January until 31st January..
The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) (Amendment) Regulations 2020, S.I. No. 102 of 2020 still applies to construction workers where their safe pass card is out of date.This amendment to the regulations allows for Safe Pass cards which have expired after March 1st 2020 to be still regarded as valid for the duration of the cessation of delivery of the SOLAS Safe Pass training programme.
